Research at VHIR
The VHIR focuses its research on resolving problems in human health and improving healthcare. At the same time, it promotes the valorisation and transfer research results to the production sector and places innovation at the centre of its activity.
The centre works with highly consolidated research groups and researchers in the areas of oncology, endocrinology and nephrology, cardiovascular diseases, neuroscience, digestive and liver diseases, infectious diseases, respiratory and systemic diseases, gynaecological diseases, paediatrics and experimental surgery, epidemiology, pharmacology, new treatments and departments to support clinical research and nanomedicine.
