The agreement signed this week with LUKE is aimed at jointly presenting European projects to the Horizon Europe calls, especially in the fields of life sciences, bioeconomics, forestry, agri-food and ecology. CERCA and LUKE will also collaborate on research data management policies, technology transfer, and other cross-cutting issues affecting research and innovation management.
The agreement includes the possibility of creating mobility programs for research staff, co-organizing workshops and symposia on topics of mutual interest and, in particular, the exchange of experiences in research assessment.
The Director of CERCA will visit LUKE’s facilities in Finland soon and, it is expected that a Finnish delegation will do the same before the end of the year.
The Natural Resources Institute Finland (LUKE) is a research organization dedicated to promoting the bioeconomy and sustainable use of natural resources.
