Since 2019, the CERCA Institute has been actively participating in the Women and Science Committee of the Inter-university Council of Catalonia (CIC). This has given us access to grants managed by the Institut Català de les Dones (Catalan Women’s Institute, ICD) as part of the State Pact Against Gender-based Violence.
As active members of these projects, we have initiated a number of actions aimed at all the staff in CERCA centres in order to raise awareness and prevent male violence against women.
Video: “From microaggressions to harassment”
The video, aimed at preventing gender-based violence, is a tool to raise awareness of the issue among staff at the centres. It also seeks to help bring potential problems to the surface and provide resources to the people who have to manage them.
