The CERCA Institute coordinates the 41 research centres in the CERCA system from all around Catalonia. Set up as a foundation, its main objective is to ensure the development of the Catalan research centre system in terms of positioning, visibility and impact.

Access to public information

Request public information is the right that people have to access the information prepared by the Administration and that which it has in its possession as a result of its activity or the exercise of its functions, including that which it supplies the other subjects obliged in accordance with the law (article 18 of Law 19/2014, of December 29, on transparency, access to public information and good governance).

This is a right in an individual capacity or in the name and representation of any legally constituted legal person, not conditioned to a personal interest nor subject to motivation or invocation of any rule.

Internal alert system

Internal Alert System for Regulatory Infringements and Conducts Against Administration’s Public Integrity of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

In accordance with Law 2/2023, of 20 February, which regulates the protection of individuals who report regulatory infringements and the fight against corruption, the I-CERCA Foundation makes available to the public an internal alert system. This is a channel shared on a temporary basis with the Generalitat de Catalunya by means of the Agreement GOV/160/2023, of 25 July, which establishes the Internal Alert System for Regulatory Infringements and Conducts Against Administration’s Public Integrity of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
