In 2019, the CERCA Institute signed a framework collaboration agreement with the National Agency for Research and Innovation of Uruguay (ANII) on researcher mobility. Through this agreement, the CERCA Institute and ANII have already launched two programmes:
– Mobility programme for researchers from Uruguay who wish to carry out short stays at CERCA centres, for a maximum of six months.
– Doctoral programme in CERCA centres, for predoctoral researchers from Uruguay to carry out their doctoral thesis in a CERCA centre or in “sandwich” mode (in a CERCA centre and Uruguay).
In both cases, the CERCA Institute has committed itself for a period of 3 years and assumes initial settlement costs for each person arriving in Catalonia.
