Research into the water cycle and its management

Water is a key resourcer for ecosystems and society. In the Mediterranean, it is a scarce resource, and its quality and management are essential. The Catalan Institute for Water Research (ICRA) conducts research and transfer on all aspects related to the analysis, improvement and management of water, especially those associated with ecosystems and human activities.

ICRA research is transferred to public and private bodies related to the use and management of water, in terms of quantity, quality and technological procedures for its improvement.
